Looking for a new Alameda happy hour locale? Look no further than “Slider Thursdays” at Alameda Point Vintners, a collective of artisan wineries located at Rock Wall Wine Company’s tasting room. Every Thursday a winery at Alameda Point Vintners is featured and the tasting room’s kitchen, Bistro Zafari, prepares hand-made beef sliders. This is an amazing Alameda happy hour (5-7pm), for $5 you get a plate of sliders and the opportunity to taste through the featured winery’s extensive line up.
This week’s featured winery for Slider Thursdays is R&B Cellars. We’re counting on the sun shining so we’ll start you with our deliciously crisp Sauvignon Blanc and then move towards our serious reds. Our Petite Sirah and Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon pair perfectly with the sliders. Relax on the back deck of the tasting room and take in the sweeping views of the San Francisco Bay and SF skyline. This is one of Alameda’s best-kept happy hour secrets, so take advantage while it lasts! Bonus: There’s plenty of free parking.
