2021 Piacere Pinot Noir

Haling from the Sta. Rita Hills, this is our "reserve" level Pinot Noir. Dark red berry fruits, dried cranberries, dark black fruits, dark current flavors, “Prunell” plums, and exotic baking spices (think clove, nutmeg, and cinnamon). The enticing nose translates into the flavors in the mouth. But it is the body and the finish in this Pinot that sets it apart. While there is an elegance and focus on red berry fruit flavors, there is also a depth and a richness of flavors focused more on black fruits like Cassis, dark plums, and black raspberries. And the finish? It’s like when making a pie, taking your extra pie dough and sprinkling cinnamon and a little sugar on it and baking it. That’s the finish!
