2017 Maestoso Mourvêdre

In music terms Maestoso means to perform in a stately, dignified manner. This wine is all of that and more. Made from 95% Mourvêdre, 2% Petite Sirah and 3% Zinfandel from Lake County, Maestoso has the structure and rich fruit that lives up to its name. The fruit is red-berry driven suggesting Montmorency cherries and ripe strawberries and luscious stone fruits. There is a hint of earthiness and then a dark, rich fruit profile emerges, mixed with exotic spice and herbal notes: a complex and regal wine indeed. So treat yourself to a little majesty and enjoy the Maestoso Mourvêdre.
